When a MacBook will not power on, the cause is almost never "the motherboard". It is one component on that motherboard: a shorted capacitor, a failed power management IC, a burnt USB-C charging IC or a damaged SMC circuit. Replacing the whole logic board can cost more than the machine is worth. Repairing the one failing part usually does not.
We measure each power rail under a stereo microscope, isolate the short, and micro-solder the replacement component. When a board genuinely cannot be saved — severe long-term corrosion, a failed SoC — we tell you that plainly instead of taking your money for a repair that will not hold.
